You might notice there is a Pending Orders section on your event dashboard, but what is a pending order? And how do you confirm it? You will find out in this article.

 

What are pending orders?

Generally, pending orders are orders that are incomplete due to some reasons. Attendees in pending orders will not receive a QR code or registration confirmation email and therefore cannot check-in during the event day. There are two main reasons for pending orders: Payment related issue and waiting list.

Payment related

If an attendee chooses an offline payment method, his/her order will be listed as "Pending" because you have not received the funds. If an attendee paid through PayPal and his/her order is listed as Pending Order, it is possiby because the payment is under fraud checking by PayPal. We recommend checking your account, make sure you have received the funds before confirming this kind of order.

Waiting List

If you are using the waiting list feature, orders on the waiting list will be shown as "Pending" as well because their orders are not confirmed yet.

 

Confirm a Pending Order 

There are two ways you can confirm a pending order. The first one is fast using just one click, while the second one allows you to add more information and comments to the approved order. We will introduce them both here.

Quick Approval

1. Go to your Event Dashboard

On your Dashboard, click on view orders under Pending Orders.

 

2. Go to Approve Orders

Click on Approve Orders on the left sidebar.

You can find all your pending orders here. You can also search for specific orders; Advanced Search allows you to search using many other criterias.

To approve an order, simply click on the green Approve box and you are done! You can also reject an order by clicking on the red Reject box.

 

Complete Approval

1. Go to your Event Dashboard

As seen in the image below, there is one pending order. Click on View Orders under the Pending Orders Section.

You will be redirected to a different page where you can see the list of Pending Orders made by your attendees. If you are having trouble finding a particular order, try Advanced Search where you can search pending orders by attendees' information.

 

3. Confirm a Pending Order

Once you find an attendee's pending order and made sure you want to confirm it, Click Mark as Complete.

In the next page, enter the date this order was confirmed and add an internal note if necessary. Click Confirm to complete, and you are done!

Confirm Payment

 

A confirmation email will be sent to the attendee's email informing the attendee this completion. This order will also be listed under Completed Orders on your Dashboard.
